Opened in December 2016, Milligan Island Eco Campsite is a unique and environmentally conscious camping destination located between Leeman and Green Head. This eco-friendly campsite offers a tranquil and nature-focused experience for visitors looking to reconnect with the natural world.
As a camping node, Milligan Island emphasizes sustainable practices and responsible camping. Visitors are encouraged to follow Leave No Trace principles, ensuring they leave the environment as they found it. NO FIRES ARE PERMITTED AT ANY TIME Free dump points are located in both Leeman & Green Head townsites. Beach access is available to licensed vehicles PLEASE stick to the designated access tracks.
SITE 11 is 15M WIDE and 12M DEEP
The fee is $30 per site, per night for up to six people, with children under 12 staying free. As this is an eco-tourist site, there is no running water or power available.
Access is available to all vehicles via a gravel road. All site are large and can comfortably fit Campervans, caravans and camper trailers. Sites have compacted surfaces and may require extra tools to insert tent pegs (tip: a drill and drill bit works great.)
Pets are permitted at Milligan Island, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after to help protect the environment and ensure a pleasant experience for all campers and visitors.
This is a public facility designated for caravan, camper, or tent parking. You are welcome to bring your own caravan, camper, or tent to sleep in. Please note that no indoor beds or sleeping accommodations are provided on-site.

•Weather Conditions
We understand that weather can be unpredictable and may impact your travel plans. However, as an outdoor-based accommodation provider, we operate in all weather conditions. Our standard cancellation and amendment policies still apply, regardless of forecasted or current weather.
•Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to: admin@coorow.wa.gov.au
No refunds or credits will be issued for early departures, regardless of circumstances.
•Cancellation Timeframes
Less than 7 days before arrival: The full amount of the booking will be forfeited
7 days or more before arrival: A $20 booking fee will apply, and the remaining balance may be refunded at the discretion of the Shire of Coorow.
•Amendments
All booking amendments are subject to availability
Amendments made within 7 days of arrival may incur a $20 amendment fee
We recommend contacting us as early as possible to increase the chance of securing your preferred new dates.
